Otjomuise Live Arts Festival 2023 Programme

Otjomuise Live Arts Festival (OLAF), made a triumphant return with its Special 2023 Edition, centered around the theme
"Art is Health." Co-produced by the National Theatre of Namibia (NTN) and the Goethe-Institut Namibia, this special edition
was a celebration of creativity and cultural expression.

The event showcased dynamic pop-up exhibits, including a captivating light installation by Vitji Ndjiharine,
a mesmerizing sound installation by Tumi Mohammed, an immersive soundscape experience by A gulp's Worth, and a
touching personal performance by dancer Le Clue Job, reflecting on self-acceptance and love.

The city came alive with the vibrant contributions of four talented live visual artists—
Petrina Matthews, Candice Mouton, Ryan de Wee, and John Kalunda. Their interactive artworks added
a burst of vibrancy and creativity to the urban landscape, engaging and inspiring all who experienced them.

As the grand finale, the special edition concluded with a powerful showcase of "Inside Out," an experimental movement piece
facilitated by Haymich Olivier and brought to life by members of the Tobias Hainyeko constituency. This immersive experience left
a lasting impression, marking the perfect conclusion to a spectacular festival.

Thank you for being part of the magic at OLAF 2023, where the intersection of art and health created moments
of inspiration, reflection, and connection. Stay tuned for more updates and join us next year as we continue to
explore the endless possibilities of artistic expression.
